Now in its ninth year already (can you believe it?) one of the highlights of our summer social calendar, the Cintron Pink Polo returns to its home at Val de Vie Estate on Saturday 3 November. The dress code for 2018 has been selected as emerald green and pink with touches of gold.
In case you're a first time visitor to Cape Town, I'll break it down for you. The Pink Polo event was started in 2010 with the aim of enjoying some riveting polo while supporting worthy causes that make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
The Val de Vie estate itself is quite a sight to behold already - especially if you're unfamilar with the terrain. Its elegant housing draws inspiration from French Provençal fused with Cape Vernacular architecture, picturesque vineyards, farms and immaculate gardens and lakes - and this is just the backdrop. There are also a range of fashion, food and entertainment attractions which livens up the festivities besides the usual beautiful people and socialising so it’s a fun day out whether you're into the sport or just looking to kick back and relax with some gorgeous South African wines on offer. Have a look at the clip below for an idea of what to expect.
Pink Polo VIP tickets R1750 (Dhs477) includes butler service, premium bar, flowing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and canape catering. There is also communal seating available on the Pavilion for R660 (Dhs180) and access to a cash bar and some snacks. If you're a large group of 30+ guests or want a more private experience of I'd recommend a Private VIP Lounge, you can call the number below for more details. For more of a party/mingling vibe, the usual Pink Polo VIP tickets are a good option as it guarantees seating.
