It might sound dramatic at first glance but whether you’re into Burberry or not, as this is currently the last collection we may see of the brand as we know it - in all its prim and proper British glory - I’ve been savouring it more in the months leading up to Riccardo Tisci’s first show. The label is unlikely to remain anything as traditional as we’ve come to expect and if Givenchy’s ex-creative director lives up to his reputation it’s going to be very exciting to see how it evolves in the future.
The arrival of The Burberry Conservatory in Dubai is something to look forward to then, as it takes over the Farjam Foundation in DIFC from Sunday May 6 to May 10. The aim of the event is to celebrate the latest runway tote, named “The Belt Bag”. Designed by previous creative director, Christopher Bailey, The Belt Bag is inspired by the iconic Burberry trench coat. Customers can have a first-hand experience of the bag as well as shopping the latest Burberry collection to a gorgeous, English summer garden backdrop created for the experience.

Speaking of which, if you haven't seen model-activist Adwoa Aboah's Burberry photo project with her family in Ghana, shot by Juergen Teller - you're missing out on some heart warming moments. Take a look here.
