Catch Dubai has closed, permanently.

What a twist. Catch Dubai one of my favourite seafood restaurants downtown has closed its doors. Permanently. 

In case you had never checked it out before, the venue was kind of a New York style eatery featuring leather booths, exposed brick faced walls plus one of thee best industrial themed restroom designs. It arrived on the scene in 2015.

​It comes as a bit of a surprise since the restaurant also underwent a revamp at the beginning of 2018 and it was named Time Out’s Seafood Restaurant of the year last year. Sad news indeed however word is that a new funky concept is set to take its place in the Fairmont hotel.

I guess we’ll just have to stay tuned to find out.
